BioMat Therapy

BioMat therapy is a unique, non-invasive wellness modality that combines far-infrared (FIR) heat, negative ion emission, and amethyst crystal conduction to support the body’s healing, relaxation and regeneration processes. The device has been cleared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for temporary relief of minor muscle pain, joint pain, stiffness and increased local circulation. 

At the core of BioMat therapy is the far-infrared heat, which penetrates deeply (up to six inches or more into tissues) to warm muscles and organs from the inside.  This deep warming effect promotes improved blood circulation, assisting oxygen and nutrient delivery, and enhancing the flushing out of metabolic waste. 

Negative ions, another key component, are naturally produced in fresh air places (waterfalls, forested areas) and are associated with improved mood, reduced stress and enhanced cellular function. The BioMat emits negative ions which may help calm the nervous system, support mental clarity and elevate mood.  The amethyst crystals embedded in the mat are used as a conductor, enhancing the FIR and negative ion effects.
