Reiki
Reiki is a gentle yet profoundly healing energy therapy that works to restore balance and harmony to the mind, body, and spirit. Originating from Japan, the word Reiki means “universal life energy.” It is based on the principle that when our life force energy is flowing freely, we experience vitality, clarity, and peace — but when it becomes blocked or depleted, we can feel tired, anxious, or unwell.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body, allowing universal energy to flow through to the areas where it is most needed. This energy helps dissolve energetic blockages, releasing tension and promoting natural healing. Many people describe the experience as deeply calming, with a sensation of warmth, tingling, or gentle waves of energy flowing through the body.
Reiki supports the body’s innate ability to heal itself, making it an excellent complement to both conventional and holistic treatments. It can ease physical pain, accelerate recovery after illness or surgery, and enhance emotional wellbeing.
Beyond the physical, Reiki has a powerful effect on the emotional and spiritual levels. It helps quiet the mind, reduce stress, and bring a sense of inner peace and clarity. Many clients leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more connected to their true selves.
Because Reiki works on the energetic level, it adapts intuitively to each person’s needs. It is safe for everyone — from children to the elderly — and can be used to support sleep, relieve anxiety, and promote overall balance.
A Reiki session is more than relaxation; it is a journey inward — a reconnection to the body’s natural rhythm of healing and harmony. You’ll leave feeling calm, centred, and re-energised, with a renewed sense of peace within.
